About us
Great Eastern FX Co. is an independent pedal company proudly based in the East of England.
Our pedals are entirely designed and built in the UK, using components selected for performance rather than price. This includes low-noise metal film resistors, PET film capacitors, Alpha pots and Neutrik jack sockets.
We’re doing what we can to make our pedals more eco-friendly, including using recycled and recyclable packaging and using local suppliers wherever possible.

Making music is meant to be fun. It’s something we, as musicians, take very seriously.
That's our approach to designing pedals in a nutshell. We make serious, practical tools for guitarists and producers, but we never forget their primary purpose: to facilitate fun.
Our end goal is to deliver instant musical gratification. All of our pedals are dynamically responsive, expressive and inspiring to play, with simple, intuitive controls – all designed to let the player get on with playing.
About the designer
Great Eastern FX Co. is the brainchild of veteran guitar journalist David Greeves.

Formerly editor-in-chief of Guitar Buyer magazine and reviews editor of Sound On Sound magazine, David has written for a host of guitar, bass and studio recording magazines including Guitarist, Guitar & Bass, Vintage Rock and more.

He launched Great Eastern FX Co. as a one-man company in 2021, channeling his many years of experience into designing original pedals that make players want to play.
